Privacy policy
The protection of your personal data is important to us. Processing takes place exclusively on the basis of legal provisions (Swiss DPA and EU GDPR).

Access to the website (server logs)
When you visit, technically necessary data are processed in log files (IP address, date/time, page requested, browser). Legal basis is legitimate interest in safe operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Contact form
When you write via the contact form, salutation, name, email, subject and message are stored to answer your request. Data are deleted after final processing unless statutory retention requirements apply.
Newsletter (double opt-in)
Our newsletter runs on our own, self-developed software. No data is passed on to third parties. Only the data required for delivery is stored (e.g. email address, sign-up date). The newsletter uses double opt-in. Your email is only added after explicit confirmation. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every mail.
Embedded content from third parties
For content, newsletter, podcast, contact form and member area this website uses exclusively its own, self-developed systems. No third-party content, scripts or tracking services are embedded. The only exception is the payment provider on the donation page.
On the donation page we use the payment service provider Stripe to process payments securely. When the payment form is opened, technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, browser information) is transmitted to Stripe so that the payment can be processed. We have no influence on the scope and purpose of this data processing.

Cookies and local storage
This website sets no tracking or marketing cookies, so no consent banner is required. Only technically necessary storage is used:
- Login/session data for the member area – purpose: keeping you signed in; local browser storage, at most 30 days or until you sign out.
- Language setting – purpose: remembering the chosen language version; local browser storage, until browser data is cleared.
- View and notice settings (e.g. notices already seen, invitation token) – purpose: usability; local browser storage, until browser data is cleared.
- Stripe sets its own technically necessary cookies when the payment form is opened – only if you start a payment.
