On the use of artificial intelligence
Artificial intelligence is a tool – comparable to the printing press in its time. Back then, the printing press made texts and the Bible accessible to a broad public. Today, AI opens a new door: it can connect thoughts with biblical texts at lightning speed, reveal cross-references and help prepare content across languages. This is a great opportunity – provided the tool is guided with clear intent and care.
Many people approach AI with scepticism. Technically, it recognises patterns in language and calculates probabilities: it predicts which words, sentences and connections fit the context. This produces systems capable of structuring, translating and precisely formulating texts.
Damian Maxson has studied NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) intensively for many years – the understanding of how language shapes our thinking, feelings and actions. Language has enormous power. In human interaction, this power is not always used selflessly; language can inspire, but it can also be used for targeted manipulation. AI, by contrast, has no intentions or hidden motives of its own. Properly instructed, it serves solely to develop and structure the text clearly.
On this blog, we use AI specifically as a technical tool: to structure thoughts, refine language and translate our Christian content into eight languages.
AI replaces neither the personal experience nor the spiritual depth from which these texts have grown. Especially with sensitive subjects such as faith, healing or emotional distress, technology alone reaches clear limits. Responsibility, theological review and the final word on every published text lie fully and personally with Damian Maxson. The content remains an expression of lived reality.
On suicidal thoughts
Suicidal thoughts are a serious warning sign of inner distress — they do not mean weakness or failure, but show that support is urgently needed. Anyone having such thoughts should turn to a professional, a counselling service or an emergency line as quickly as possible.
