We hear a lot about prayer and the hope it brings.
But whether prayer truly helps, and why, is rarely explained.
I’ve developed a bold theory on this. As is often the case, it’s hard to tell if it’s the Holy Spirit speaking, and therefore truth, or if it simply comes from the tangled workings of our minds and their associated channels.
Perhaps I should start with the basics. We live in three dimensions, perceived through five senses. This means we use our eyes, hands, nose, and so on, to observe our surroundings in three dimensions: left, right, up, and down.
However, there’s another dimension we don’t perceive with our eyes and ears, yet it exists.
Some people can sense that there’s more, some see strange things, but most of us live exclusively within the three normally perceivable dimensions.
What does any of this have to do with the effectiveness of prayer?
I’m afraid I need to elaborate further.
When a person dies, they leave their body and transition into this other dimension. This dimension is perceived immediately after death, as soon as the body can no longer function properly.
At this point, one either remains there for a short time until they can return home to eternity, or they get stuck, unable to move on.
The famous tunnel and white light simply won’t appear for some.
What conclusions can we draw from this? That everything in this dimension invisible to us consists of lost spirits, by no means trustworthy entities. Pure souls are led directly home. I then wonder, what about the rest?
You don’t have to believe what you read here, but if you ever reach a point where you truly understand and know that more exists, then what I’m writing becomes very important.
Not everything between heaven and earth is good. On the contrary, it can be quite dangerous and manipulative.
These are souls for whom there’s a reason they are where they are. Their essence was no longer sufficiently aligned with goodness, and because they posed a threat to the good—a threat they fully embodied on Earth—they are now blocked. This is because eternity, our true home, is free from evil.
These spirits see us, of course, and know the truth; there’s no need to debate whether life exists outside a body. They also know that their path to eternity is blocked, that they’ve, so to speak, gambled everything away. The only thing left for them is to cause as much harm as possible.
So, there it is, the theory: a dimension above us is ruled by evil; the good ones have long since departed, and we here are left playing blind man’s bluff, unaware of what’s truly happening to us.
Now I can finally explain what prayer has to do with all this.
If there are various levels between heaven and us, and these are filled with evil spirits, then our connection to heaven is severely strained, sometimes even completely blocked.
Prayer establishes a connection to our home, linking us with our origin. We then align ourselves with goodness. Spirits dislike this connection. They prefer those who are like-minded, or those who are damaged, broken, people who are already struggling enough.
Anyone who truly prays from the heart and maintains a good connection with their home, with their Creator or Jesus, is far less burdened. They are, in principle, free, because evil spirits don’t like positive, good people, or successful ones. They prefer to target those already on the brink, to give them that final push into ruin or to gradually lead them into the same destruction.
This will also be the reason why those who already have much will receive more, and those who are already poor will become even poorer.
Prayer cleanses our immediate surroundings and opens the connection to our origin. This works simply and quickly, but it requires a certain continuity, as the quality of the connection diminishes if one doesn’t pray from time to time.
I imagine it like this: a spirit thinks, “Oh dear, he’s praying now,” and retreats, because prayer annoys it, and it prefers something more to its liking. It will only return when it’s no longer annoyed, when we feel bad again and complain—then it’s back. That’s where it feels comfortable; that’s what it wants: for us to feel worse and worse.
I’ve experienced this myself. I was severely depressed, cried out to heaven, and the depression vanished for two days as if by magic.
But after two days, it was back to how it was before. Unfortunately, at the time, I didn’t understand that it’s important not just to cry out once, but to pray consistently. What medicine on Earth can instantly relieve an illness for two days without side effects or dependency?
Precisely, none. I’m not saying that depression is caused by evil spirits, but the strength and quality of our prayers can achieve an enormous amount.
I used to hate it when someone said, “What, you’re depressed? You just need to pray more, or you’re not praying enough.” But life has taught me otherwise. Prayer is the strongest weapon for our lives. Depression takes many forms, and antidepressants are a human attempt at defence, which also doesn’t offer a truly sustainable solution.
Prayer can build resilience; you wouldn’t believe it unless you experienced it yourself.
My bold theory stems precisely from this. I wondered, how can an illness simply disappear for two days and then suddenly return? What mechanism is at work?
My interest in near-death experiences, my struggles with depression, and my faith and prayers led me to these conclusions.
And finally, this: near-death experiences are real, not figments of imagination. Today, countless testimonies exist. The camp that always claims these are hallucinations consistently overlooks the point that people reporting such experiences perceive things and circumstances that can only be seen from a position outside the body.
There are now countless such reports worldwide.
