What do we think about when we think about love?
It's a wonderful feeling, one of the most beautiful we know. Whether we're loving someone or being loved, in its purest form, this feeling always transcends everything else.
When I think about love, gratitude quickly follows – gratitude that so much love can exist at all, and that it can play such an important and essential role in life.
My gratitude then turns to the strongest source of love there is: to creation itself, to God, to Jesus, to the Holy Spirit.
What's the best way to express gratitude? The simplest is through a beautiful prayer, with heartfelt words directed to the one who mastered life, showed us the way home, and is a guiding light on our life's journey.
Didn't he say, "Whoever believes in me will live forever"? For those who understand this, it will be so. But until then, we must still live good lives, which is certainly not easy. Yet, he is there for us, because connecting with him restores our spirit, calms our fears, and cares for our bodies.
Here, then, is a hymn of praise to the Most High, who once walked upon our earth, who still guides countless people in spirit, and who represents the path of walking daily, step by step, in accordance with his will. This prepares us for the day when our bodies will no longer function, and what will matter then is the purity of our souls.
Almighty Jesus Christ,
Here are a few lines for you, the greatest name this world has ever heard.
I praise and glorify your name; I revere your work. In your name, Jesus Christ, I am powerful, full of energy, a blessing to life, to everyone I meet, to everything I do – in your venerable name, in your divine purpose.
In you, I am stronger than any thought that seeks to harm me; in your name, I am stronger than any feeling that tries to confuse me. In you, Jesus Christ, I can master all my daily tasks with excellence and be a small reflection of you.
I thank you for all the years you have helped and shaped me. For everything that has been possible with you, and for every day I get to walk with you and feel how, through prayer and conversation, I become stronger and happier with you.
Almighty Jesus, you are the best this world has ever seen. Through you, I can nurture my direct connection to my origin and am freed from everything that seeks to separate me. No sin, no death, nothing has the power to destroy me anymore.
As an heir of heaven, it is life's task, with your help, to live the best possible good and divine life here. With you, dear Jesus, this is possible every single day. For that, I thank you with all my heart. My greatest and strongest love belongs only to you, Best of the Best.
